Responsibilities:
Analyze clinical algorithms and provide decisions regarding Prior Authorization Requests.
Use of online databases and other resources to document appropriate recommendations, clinical decisions and responses.
Provide ongoing education on the Prior Authorization Program to healthcare providers and internal partners.
Deliver the highest quality customer service to healthcare providers and internal providers in a high paced dedicated Prior Authorization program.
Job Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service position handling inbound or outbound calls preferably in a call center environment in the healthcare or social services field OR at least 3 months of experience as a pharmacy technician
Active PTCB certificate
Active TX State License
High School Diploma or GEDEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
