Avaya Contact Center Engineer - Agile
Position Responsibilities
Technical resource supporting the IP Telephony infrastructure for a large financial customer's line of business using Agile methodology. Infrastructure components include NICE Call Recording, Avaya and Cisco (Call Manager, ICM) technology based IP Telephony infrastructures.
Position is responsible for delivering hands-on logical IPT network configurations, changes, implementations and designs.
As the lead technical voice engineer on an Agile team, this position requires but is not limited to attending daily planning sessions, hands on implementations, consulting/peer reviewing with and for team members, gathering customer requirements to create technical solutions, escalating the solutions to the account team as appropriate.
Provides/delivers/modifies network diagrams and workflows as necessary while collaborating with team members.
Required Skills & Experience
Requires a BS degree (Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Technology) or Equivalent and a minimum of 5 years' experience in technology disciplines.
Thorough Avaya Contact Center/NICE Call recording technology with IP Telephony network engineering, operational support familiarity.
Very Strong customer interfacing skills, as well as very good oral and written communication and teaming skills.
Work closely with technical teams, program and sales teams on collaboration in meeting the technology requirements for the customer.
Disciplined and oriented in practice of and adherence to process and procedures.
Previous engineering support for Call Center migrations and implementations/upgrades required.
Must possess strong hands-on logical implementation and technical support skills in IP Telephony Network Engineering.

Experienced with SIP Trunking, H.323 Session Border Controllers, Voice Security Principles, Traffic Engineering, Contact Center Routing & IVR technologies in High Availability designs.

Working experience with Avaya networking, Cisco routing & switching protocols for LAN (Modular Network Design)

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
