BASIC FUNCTION OF JOB
Software Engineers II provide technical support in areas of proficiency; provide leadership to Software Engineers I; document, implement, and test system-level functions that correct or improve or extend our enterprise software solutions.
WORK PERFORMED
Job duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
o Reviews release notes for basic understanding of each new release's features and fixes.
o Attends project design and code review sessions to provide expertise in current area(s) of proficiency and to increase knowledge in target area(s) of proficiency.
o Controls scope of individual functions or tasks by ensuring each adheres to the design and requirements. Ensures functions or tasks assigned are completed and delivery ready based upon published delivery timeframes.
o Assists in project specifications, analysis, high and low-level design, and test plan creation.
o Conducts design sessions and prepares/modifies design documentation based on results provided from the design sessions.
o Completes small, single-person projects without direct supervision. Includes ability to design, implement, document, test, and complete all phases of a small project; ability to communicate analysis, design, and implementation results in code reviews; ability to communicate requirements, functionality, benefits, and migration issues clearly in documentation.
o Resolves defects in existing ADS functionality and tests system code modified for defect resolution to ensure functional integrity.
o Participates in code reviews for other developers in order to ensure system changes adhere to coding and performance standards.
o Generates test guidelines for use in both unit testing and QA system testing.
o Prepares defect or project documentation for use in release notes and system documentation in order to convey changes and explain enhancements to customers.
o Demonstrates proficiency in 50% of the Systems Development skill set, including problem solving skills, industry knowledge, product knowledge, and technical and development expertise.
o Uses skill set outside of Systems Development to provide customer support, to provide information and support to marketing and sales, and to participate in customer conference calls.
o Mentors other Software Engineers II and Software Engineers I in systems processes, development tools, and the Systems Development skill set.
o Position may require travel for onsite customer development projects.
o Demonstrate understanding of value chain CRP3 (Customer, Revenue, People, Process, Product) through actions and accomplishments.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Communication Skills
o Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documentation and design specifications.
o Ability to effectively communicate with team members including customer support, developers (systems and application), managers, users, testers, and documentation groups as needed to complete assigned tasks.
Training or Equivalency
o Training includes Training I, Training II, Server, Product Training, Relational Database, Object, Debugging, Unit Testing, Specialty Courses.
o External training includes Development Tool such as Visual Basic, C/C++, GUI, SQL, Windows.
Job Rotations or Equivalency
o Certified Programmer II or Software Engineer I or equivalent professional experience.
o Minimum 2-4 year experience in the full life-cycle development of enterprise solutions including design, construction, testing, implementation and debugging
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science (CS), Software Engineering (SE) or related technical field is required for the position.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
