Embedded Software Developer (C++, C) needed for a contract to hire opportunity with Yoh's client located in Richardson TX.

What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop and maintain application-level software in a Real Time Embedded Linux environment
- Lead a team of software engineers to deliver high quality releases according to project schedules
- Write technical documents including requirement analysis, detailed designs, test plans, and other support documents
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior team members
- Manage and effectively communicate project status to management
What You Need to Bring to the Table:
- Software development expertise in C++ and C
- At least three (3) years of working with Embedded Linux/Unix operating system
- Ability to quickly attain domain knowledge and contribute to the design/implementation of sophisticated systems
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle and best practices
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
- Proven track record of working on complex systems and meeting deliverables with limited supervision
- Previous experience with Qt, Google Protobufs and Boost a plus
- Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study and at least five (5) years of relevant work experience
- At least three (3) years working with Embedded Linux/Unix operating system
- Excellent communication skills
- A strong work ethic and desire to work in a fast-paced, fun, demanding environment
- Meticulous attention to detail and quality
