Service Manager ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES I Initial Responsibilities Greet all customers with an enthusiastic smile.
Always ask a customer how you can assist them.
Answer all questions to the utmost of your ability and page the appropriate employee to answer any questions that you cannot.
Assist all customers as to the locations of other departments in the dealership.
II Monetary Responsibilities Collect all monies owed by the customer.
Properly close all transactions to the appropriate accounts.
Ask for assistance from the Service Advisors or the Managers on any transactions that are not clearly defined as to who is paying.
Reconcile all transactions at the end of your shift.
III Courtesy Van Scheduling Assist all customers with Courtesy Van rides from the dealership.
Stay in touch with the Courtesy Van drivers, by phone, in order to give customers accurate times as to when the vans will be back to give them a ride.
Schedule all Courtesy Van pickups and notify customers if there is going to be any unforeseen delays.
IV Data Input and Accounts Receivable Enter all assigned data into our DMS as assigned by management.
Assist the Warranty Administrator in collection of all receivables and MPP warranty claims.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
