Wilson Electronics is seeking an experienced Regulatory Engineer, specializing in Wireless and EMC technology, who is familiar with Radio Frequency Device Testing, certification requirements, methods, processes, and know how worldwide.
In addition, this candidate will review, advise, and document materials, data sheets, and lab tests concerning Wilson products for Rohs and CA Proposition 65 Materials Standards.
The successful candidate will be an experienced, hands-on, North America and International regulatory Compliance Management professional with a strong skill set of knowledge in RF/Wireless device compliance, and EMC and Product Material standards.
This candidate will be responsible for Initiation, Specification, Documentation, Certification approval and required Process and Procedural Management for all Wilson Electronics products certifications worldwide.
In addition, this person will be the custodian responsible for Wilson Electronics worldwide IP portfolio management inclusive of working closely with outside council and the development team.
This position is based in our Richardson, Texas location and reports to the Design Center Manager.
This position has a competitive salary plus the opportunity to receive an additional company profit-sharing bonus every 6 months.

Areas of responsibility include:

Maintain a strong knowledge base on industry standards in reference to FCC Part 20, Part 90, Part 15, as well as similar CE, ISED and other international standards
Responsible for coordination, scheduling, contracting, and documentation for FCC, ETSI, CE, ISED, PTCRB, UL, and similar certification test houses and organizations
Support the Product Design Teams in the Certification Process required for the project(s)
Research and analyze competitor Certifications and compliance
Support Compliance requests from sales, QA, and sourcing teams
Support the business in various Compliance activities, e.
g.
, CA PROP 65, Conflict Minerals, RoHS/WEEE/REACH, Country of Origin
Monitor changes in standards and analyze impact on our products and roadmap
Participate in standards organization calls and meetings
Some travel required at 5% or less This job may be a great fit for you if you have the following
Experience:

BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering or equivalent education
Extensive knowledge of and 5
years of experience in consumer and commercial electronic product design
Extensive knowledge in consumer and commercial electronic product certification and compliance
Knowledge of and 3
years experience in RF electrical design at system level (component level a plus), 600 MHz to 6 GHz
Ability to work without sponsorship in the United States We are also seeking these skills:
